A very thrilling last couple months. Just checking in later than I’d like but I’m happy to say: Stay tuned to America’s Got Talent to watch the Compliment MAN. That’s all I can say till after the show airs. The Compliment man spent 3 days in Pasadena, California via complimentary plane tickets from NBC . I’m very grateful for the experience on the BIG stage with over 2,500 audience members.
More updates coming soon and a book on the great experience will be released after airing is completed.
GREAT to be back in Austin!!! I’m working on some fun projects:
Compliment MAN has been invited back a second year in a row to KEEP AUSTIN WEIRD FEST!! :0)
Compliment MAN couch to soon hit the streets!
Building a comedy club (all recycled/reclaimed materials for the compliment MAN to perform Complimentary Comedy!
and much more really big news!!!!
Just a quick check in. Stay positive and smile allot! When you smile magic happens!
A festival for nuts so I knew I had to go. I could not find any nuts though, I love pecans, cashews, walnuts and almonds. The festival had endless tents of cool art, things and people.
The challenge to give compliments to so many people would exhaust me within 20 minutes. I would than have to pause and remind myself to breathe and restart. It was a blast of fun and smiles. I continued to give rapid fire compliments for approximately 4+ hours. Many people high fived me, some hugs and others brought me a Popsicle and water.
Compliments and Stand up comedy at a Brazos Valley Baseball game. We had a grand slam variety of comics for the line up. One young brave girl volunteered to tell a joke from the infield. Her confident poised delivery won the crowd.
The event at the BV Bombers game was high energy and total fun for us all. We were treated 1st class by the management. All our needs and more were met with genuine care. A great family event.
Jason Austin continues to battle MS with a smile on his face and a strong positive spirit. It was an honor for me to give compliments at his event. A very unique, cool punk crowd accepted my compliments with punkacoolness. Koop radio promoted the event all week co-hosted by Jason.
The Compliment Guy was the official greeter at the 2015 http://keepaustinweirdfest.com/ festival. 8 plus hours of continuous compliments to all the fun cool people. I stood at the top of the steps at the Long Center as virtually everyone that entered received at least 1 genuine compliment.
All the smiles and all the fun and great music equals another great day. A brave 7 year old girl walked up to me with her dad off to the side several steps away and asks if she could give me compliments. I crouched down so I could look at her eye to eye. She said some wonderful brilliant compliments. I then gave her some compliments. Next, she opened her arms as wide as possible towards her back and asked: ” may I hug you”? She gave me a hug with a smile that warmed my heart.
Each and every day I give compliments something extraordinary happens on top of an already great day. The extra great moment at the Keep Austin Weird Fest was an extraordinary 7 year old girl that clearly will achieve great things.
The Festival organizers said “The staff and people loved you, hope you will be back next year.” Yes of course, I will be back. I always go where I’m welcomed.
